Every once in a while you see a car that has lights that get brighter and dimmer, my 87 TA has them, they actually flash probably more than once a second and are especially noticeable if I turn the interior lights on at night, but under some conditions you can see it in the headlights….

The car appears to charge normally otherwise, battery is in good shape and stays charged…

Anyone every fix this kind of thing? What was it? I guess my top suspect is the alternator, but since there are probably 60 little things wrong with this project car I haven’t looked that hard at the problem yet, just thought about it…
