I NEED SOME HELP?!!
Alright-the new engine in-full roller motor-bored .30 over-dyno tuned. Makin 287hp and 301tq to the rear wheels-I AM HAPPY!! BUT...........my damn factory temperature gauge is not working
. All the factory gauges worked absolutely perfect, after the heart transplant my temp gauge is inop.
Now, after first start up I noticed the gauge was pinned for all guys that know these cars well, when that gauge gets a jolt it will jam itself onto the trim bezel around the gauge itself. I went into the gauge cluster, un-pinned it and put it back.
Now I have driven the car w/my scan tool to get temp readings...it is operting all at perfect temperatures(so my computer knows exactly what temp its running-can't be a temp sensor....right?)
So my problem/and question is...why every time I start the car my gauge spikes up automatically (straight up and over any proper reading)....do you think it's grounded on something??
