Hey guys... so long story short, a race shop prepping my '89 1LE 305 TPI car... hooks the battery up backwards and kills a couple things...
Master Kill switch for one... And the 'Ignition Module' locted in the Distributor cap as well.
So... after they replace the Master Kill Switch, wire the battery correctly (Don't get me going on that one!)... and replace the Ignition Module... car fires, and idles fine etc...
However... the Tack is just stuck over at 70 (7000 RPM)...
Any ideas on what to do to fix?
Thanks!
Dave

Well, the problem is obviously the courtesy of the race shop. If you're unable to make them replace the tach then I guess you'll just have to find an electronics wizard to fix it for cheap, or find a replacement at a junk yard.
