What color are my fan wires???
Im trying to fix my fan because it woirk when the AC is on but does not take over in higher temps like it should, just replaced the connector, and the sensor itself, looking for opens or shorts in the wiring, so i far i can see that it goes from the connector, up by my AC compressor, along my tbi, then i lose it. The new connector i got from nappa the wire is white but theold one is black, is that correct? Ive heard its green, black bark blue etc and im so confused, i need this fixed, AZ is heating up quick and im screwed without my fan
Im stabbing myself with a needle trying to do this continuity test anyone wanna gimmie some hints before my fingers start looking like i have diabetes??

What temperature do you let the engine reach before shutting it off? The fan kicks in at pretty high temps, like 230 or so (our cars normally run up to 220). If you shut it off too early, the fan is not gonna kick in.
Another local member here had the same issue. But he actually didn't. He was just afraid to let it get a little hotter. Once we did, his fan kicked in and cooled it back down to 220.
