fuel pump power wire 1989 5.7 tpi?
fuel pump power wire 1989 5.7 tpi?
Is the pink or tan/ white the power wire. Im trying to run a new power wire to the fuel pump that is wired to a toggle switch. Is it safe running a 12 gauge wire to that tiny factory power wire and waht is the factory fuel pump wire gauge?

If you still have the factory harness, I'd recommend using the green/white wire on the fuel pump relay to activate the fuel pump.
Why do you need to run the fuel pump from a swich? Did you remove TPI and went to carb? Or is your TPI fuel system giving you trouble?

Did you ever get this working? I got rid of my computer and basically only have the power wire and wires for the guages in my engine compartment. I dont have any of the factory relays. I havent looked at any diagrams yet, but my interior is out and i was going to just see which wire got power when the key is on and wire a switch to that, the only problem with that is my relays are already out... so if you know what wire it is on the interior side, let me know.
