Fuel gauge not working

Transmission: T56 TDP STAGE 2
Axle/Gears: 99 ws6 3.42 posi rear
Fuel gauge not working
Hey guys i have a problem with my fuel gauge. It use to work but the car sat for 6 months now the gauge sits directly pointing south. No matter how much gas i put in it it just stays their. Its an 85 camaro with a carbed 350. Any ideas?
