Stopped Dead Cold in Digital Dash Conversion

Some users in here were Interested In the outcome of my digital dash conversion. Will I am About 50% Done with it so far, ive transfered everything Over to the 1990 Dash shell from the 1988 dash shell for a few reasons. One My Fog Lamp Switch is located in the middle of the dash and not on the left hand side, and a few other things are located in a different location... also, I couldnt use my dash pad under the steering wheel... anyways, I ran into a Problem..
I wasnt able Able to get ahold of the steering wheel with the steering wheel controls and No Didnt Notice that they dude before me who took the steering wheel Cut EVERY SINGLE WIRE that goes to the steering column.... I have a Pigtail to my original harness to the column but there are soo many wires, soo many yellows orange etc.... I am figuring the thicker wires belong to the ignition system, But.... CAN ANYONE HELP ME Because the wiring Diagram is Confusing me...

I'm reviving an old thread here but I'm about to start a swap from analog to digital and am wondering how yours turned out and how difficult it was to do? Thanks

Hey. It worked out great in the end. My problem was back in 08 i got a dash harness from a hacked up car. The conversion is not complicated if you have a donor car...its not going to work correctly if u dont have the sensors...you need the door sensors that attach to the door latch inside the door of that part of the system wont work in the driver info center.. your radiator needs the sensor attachment. Also the washer fluid attachment and a few other sensors i cant think of right now...i live in long island and i lost my firebird to the hurricane we had.... im heartbroken because i put my entire heart and soul into that car and i watched it get crushed......i saved nearly everything i could and everything you cant find these days...i have my digital dash it didnt get harmed...one day il find a decent shell to bring her back to live on....good luck with your project and keep me posted..i have some videos on my youtube on my digital dash functioning... good luck let me know if you need help

My god that's absolutely horrible, I'm sorry to hear that about your car! I can only imagine the pain. I just have a few questions regarding the swap, I got a full harness and dash from a seller and he included the taillight harness and I'm wondering if it's necessary to swap mine out and put in the one he gave me for it to function properly due to having an sequential turn signal board wired into my current taillights and would be a pain to redo it again. Also for for the radiator sensor do I need a certain radiator that comes specifically with the attachment or is that something I can buy and stick it on? also were you able to do it without any wiring manuals? Sorry for all the questions, I really appreciate your help and good luck with the search!
