What are these connectors for?
The car is an 88 convertible if that makes a difference on wiring. These plugs are down by the E-brake what used to be hooked to these?

This relay looking item is next to the computer. It's the one I am pointing at.There have a couple of wires cut going to it.An orange, white and a green wire.

What is this box for?It is in the middle of the dash framework and normally mounts straight up and down,I bent it over for a better pic.

Last question.I have been calling this the computer,am I correct? I coverted the car to be carburated and have an HEI distributor. Is any of this wiring going to be necessary now?I do want all exterior lights working including reverse lights.A heater would be good too.I can bypass what is harness wise to keep stuff working.

I know it's a lot to ask.I would do a search but since some of these plugs dead end with a connector I don't know what to check under. Thanks all help is appreciated.

First picture: the blue and white connectors are for the power window switches. I see that you put in a T5. Good choice.
Third picture: I believe it's the cruise control module but am not 100% sure.
Last picture, yes that is the ECM.
The computer does not interfere with any exterior or interior lights, those are all on separate circuits.

Thanks Lou,looks like I will be removing a bunch of wiring that won't be needed anymore.

Pretty much correct on the wiring, pretty much if you disconnect the wiring from the ecm and follow that bundle through the fender up the pass side all that can be removed. Its the wiring on the driver side blkhead that controls all your lights and accesories. Just make sure you dont remove any wires that go to the starter and you should be good.
