Where does the fuel pump wire run?
The gray wire from the relay, the gray wire from the oil pressure relay and the ECM wire merge somewhere.
I need to splice into the wiring after the merge. I looked by my ECM and got lost. I now am thinking its under the door sill or down the tunnel.
Help please, Thanks.
Geo.

Re: Where does the fuel pump wire run?
As I said in your previous thread, it's inside the wiring harness as it crosses the firewall, between the relay and where it passes thru the firewall on the passenger side. If you access it inside the passenger compartment next to the ECM you will be downstream of the splice.

Re: Where does the fuel pump wire run?
Thanks for the info.
I thought there would be an easier way to chase it down. I have been searching by the ECM as you stated and it seems daunting. at some point it should be easier to find.

Re: Where does the fuel pump wire run?
I thought I found it but no go. I stopped checking with the Macgyver(sp) technique! Too many butt connectors!
I believe it splits inside the engine compartment behind the engine and runs down the tunnel.
HELP!

Re: Where does the fuel pump wire run?
That wire is nowhere near the ECM.
It runs from the engine compartment through the C100 bulkhead connector and then down the DRIVER side, by the door under the carpet, then crosses under the rear seat into the middle of the car, up the back and into a plastic through-connector C313 just behind the back seat.
Hope this helps.

Re: Where does the fuel pump wire run?
George didn't mean "splice" per se. He wants to interrupt the fuel pump wire and put a switch on it. He has another thread about that.
But you're absolutely right, to "tap into" a wire, it doesn't normally matter where.
