Gauge sfuse....i need some fresh brains to look at this

Gauges fuse blew once on the highway, replaced it and all was well. I put on my nitrous kit and it started blowing again only this time it would blow over and over as soon as the key went into the on position. I moved my two nitrous power winres away from eachother in the fuse box and it was all good. Now it blew recently so i decided to tear it apart and look around. I pulled everything in the fuse box out. Stuck the fuse in and turned the key..it popped. So i tore the cluster out..it popped. I checked all the rwires behind the cluster, did a few continuity tests and such..had a friend walk me through some tests and he said everything checked out. Brought it to a shop and her tore the fuse box down and checked a few things and then it started working again. Now it blew today, so i checked the egr solenoid and purge solenoid...still popped. I figured by yanking the cluter, i ruled out all the sensors related to the cluster right? I pulled the radio fuse since i put in a new 1 and it popped. (even though i did the "yank every fuse" thing i just wanted to be sure) i disconnected the cruise control servo, and the box by the ecm...no luck. all my a/c stuff and smog stuff is gone and i checked all those discconected connections. I cleaned all the ground in the engine bay. I am at a loss gentlemen...save me.

What size fuse is it ? 10Amp ? Do you have a chiltons diagram ? I don't know how big Palm Bay is but here in Wichita at the big library down town they have a fantastic automotive section with GM service manuals ( make chiltons look pathetic ) , you don't need a card to go look just take some dimes for the copy machine .

Check for a short in your TCC circuit.

what if i yank the plug on the transmission for the torque converter lockup? Would that rule that circuit out if it still blows?

No, only that the short isn't inside the transmission itself.

checked out fine. We hacked the pink and black power wire from the engine bay to the fuse box and it still pops so that means the short is somewhere inside, i have traced the same wire over and over again and all of it seems fine. I am completely out of ideas now.
