Well Picture one looks like an alarm shock sensor
Picture two looks like a main harness for an alarm
and picture three looks like a relay that would most likely be hooked into said alarm system

Re: Id this mess for me?

I second what Chris said.

Strange thing is, why would someone pull out the alarm "box" and leave the wiring? The alarm is useless without the wiring. *shrug*

Be careful when removing the old alarm wiring. Most of the wires usually "tee" into the vehicle wiring harness but some might interrupt some circuits (starter etc). A good wiring diagram helps so that you know what wires you're dealing with under the dash. If you don't have a book with diagrams, try here: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19

Hope this helps.

Re: Id this mess for me?

ya thats why i was so confused...why take the box out?...whatever

and thanks for the tip on removing the wiring, i know for a fact most of the wires are tapped into main system wires and most of the cars wiring looks like a little kid got into them and just starting throwing things around so i'm still debating if i even want to take it out now,

just evaluating the risks of less wiring under vs. my car possibly not working for a while....

Don't know about you but I've got a box in the garage full of wiring I've pulled out of 3 thirdgens over the years. Plenty of expensive, name brand coax, sub wire, funky power cables with trick fuse holders, etc. People are lazy.

Re: Id this mess for me?

Right. Same here.

But I meant, why would they pull the box out in the first place? If they leave it in, they can sell the car easier with a functioning alarm. If they pull it out, they can't use the box in any other vehicle without fabricating a harness for it.
I've bought cars before when the seller said "I'm keeping the alarm, though" and pulled the box out. It has NO value to them. I guess it's me, I just don't understand some people.

Guitarpik, you might want to label the wires you're pulling out and make sure that everything still works a few times during the de-installation. That way, you have a better chance to restore whatever gets broken by pulling the wrong wire.
