'86 Re-wiring Nightmare, HELP....!!!!! ;)

Okay you wiring guru's, this isn't that big of a deal, I'm just having some trouble trying to sort out the former owner's mess. Car came with a Viper alarm, as well as an aftermarket radio system. Also came w/autometer gauges for Cooling, Oil Pressure and Fuel level (not pressure). I didn't approach the fuel level wiring yet, as I'm saving that for when I install the new carpet. However, can you guys help me pinpoint which wire goes where....?

Now, the car was originally an CC-LG4, but was replaced with a 70's SBC. There are three wires ultimately in question, and one of them has already been accounted for (see pic). One black, and two green. The black one, which turns to blue as you trace it further back, is for the electric choke. The other two however have me confused. One is light green, and the other is dark green, however, the light green eventually turns to the exact same darker green color when you trace it back....

Now, being that I pulled one of his aftermarket wires leading to coolant temp sensor for the gauge, one of the green wires must be for the temp guage in the cluster, but which one though is the question lol. Also, there is no knock sensor in this engine, so it's safe to assume that the former owner just left the knock sensor (w/out connector, it was cut off) wire just dangling along with it. Of course, with my luck, they both have to be the same damn color lol....

Here's a pic, but there is more following underneath the picture, so please continue further down after it....

Now, there's even more confusion for me, but in the form of the positive battery terminal cable. The former owner replaced the red terminal, with a negative one, so now the battery has two black cable's for either side, which means he fabricated his own corresponding alternator and starter wiring. Now, I'm going to just buy the correct red cable from either GM or the boneyard, but can someone tell me the proper routing of the wiring for an '86? As can be seen, one of the alt wires is w/out loom, and goes right to the starter. Also, look at the top of the battery (he utilized both the side, as well as the top battery post). Now, the blue one on top is the one that he used to run to the alternator, but the others though, I have no idea where they route to. Any help to shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated fella's. The car pulls like a **** now after we tuned it, but I'd seriously like to bring the harness back to normal, especially since I'd like to show it during the next car show. Thanks guys.....
