probably not

be a little more specific on what its doing
are some gauges shorting out? either dieing or maxing out (or both)

if thats what its doing then the first thing i would tell you to try is to tighten snugly, but not too tight. the screws that go around the perimiter of the cluster.
from what it sounds its not getting a good connection and after a little driving its just getting the little bump it needs from road conditions to put it just where it needs to be.

If the cluster functions normally without the lights and only fails when they're turned on, reason would say that the problem originates at the switch (but then reason sometimes goes out the window).

Could be, but in my case the contacts behind my cluster just needed to be reseated properly to get a good connection

Re: cluster goes NUTS!

it seems like the cluster goes bonkers when i hit bumps...all is good for the most part then when i hit a bump the cluster goes awall...when the lights are off it works perfectly fine no glitches at all...im guessing it might be a bad ground somewhere?...but any more help would be appreciated
