Blinker bulb keeps burning out
Guys
The front drivers side blinker bulb (parking lamp) keeps burning out the filament and I cant get it to blink. The socket that was in there was all rusted out and full of water.
I replaced the socket and installed a new bulb and it kinda worked as a parking lamp. As soon as I hit the headlights the bulb goes out and stops working, all the other bulbs work and blink, including the side marker lamp.
My friend said that its shorting out somewhere in the headlight circuit, but I am not sure where to look for the short.
I need to fix it soon, I have to have it for the current inspection and I dont have another running car. The HOA is complaining about my tags and citing code compliance.
Thanks!
