Well I want to put a push button ignition in my 87 Camaro. I know that they sell just the push button, but i want to buy one of those panels, where there are switches that you flip before you hit the button.

When you turn the key, i know that it engages things, like the fuel pump and some other things i think, but im not sure exactly what those things are??? So can someone tell me exactly what i need to do to do this

I want to be able to flip 1 switch to turn one thing on, then flip another switch to turn another thing on, then push the start button

I am not worried at all about theft or anything because i use it as a sunday car, and i just take joy rides in it.

You need a schematic of your ignition switch. Find out what is on in each key position, then put power to those specific circuits. Just remember if you have a locking column you will have to remove the lock pin or still use your key.
