fuse question
fuse question
tried to search, but wouldnt open. Can someone tell me wut fuse number controls the center switch for the hatch on an 85 z. I have no power to the switch right now. or any other suggestions.
Also, how about the dome light.

It's the 'ACC' essory ( or CTSY ) fuse for both accessories. 20AMP, Middle row, on right.

Here's a diagram of the rear hatch release solenoid to help you trace down the Bug in case it not a fuse issue !

ty very much, one more thing, anyone know wut color the wiring that should go to the dome light should b? It is actually an autoform z28 (2 seat convertible) the wires are not connecter to the dome, I am trying to trace them to get the dome working.

I just had the cigarette lighter replaced as suggested by many and today during a ride the acc 20 fuse burnt out again and when trying to replace it burns out again.
Looks like there's still a short circuit going on, any idea where to look next if it's not the cigarette lighter causing the problem?
And another strange this is, why when the mechanic replaced the cigarette lighter it worked all perfectly fine. Things always seem to happen when leaving the mechanic :-)
