No Spark

Hi all,
So I did an intake gasket swap this weekend. Car ran perfect when I pulled it apart and now I have no spark when it's back together. I have a 6AL box, and I pretty much left all the wiring attached to the dist. cap so I wouldn't have issues like this when I put it back together. The only wire that came off the dist. cap was the black ground wire. I know I have power to the box, and key on power because my fuel pump is on the same wire as the key on side of the box. I've got the #1 plug pulled out with the plug wire attached to it, this way I can see if it sparks while cranking. So far no go. Any ideas?

It's gotta be something stupid since it worked before I pulled the intake off.

Thanks

Re: No Spark

K, well I read on another forum that you have your dist. off by a tooth then it won't be on the right spot to actually get a spark to the plug. (With a box) So i tried moving the dist. to another tooth. And I actually got a spark. More messing and it fired/backfired a few times. So I figured I could move the dist. a few more teeth and get it to lite. But to my dismay, it is back to no spark again.

Anyone else heard of being off a tooth causing no spark on a 6al box????

Either that or taking the cap on and off caused something to work a couple times.
