Alarm system wiring help!
I am installing a alarm system on my Camaro and it is asking to splice the turn signal wires. How can I identify these underneath the dash???
Also I am putting it on a convertible. My kit has an optional trunk release option. But my button releases the tonneau cover not the trunk. If I buy a normal trunk release can I wire it to work?

Re: Alarm system wiring help!
is it asking you for turn signal wire or for the parking light wire?
all of the alarms i have installed tie into the parking light wire so they can flash the lights if the alarm goes off and when you arm/disarm. the best place to get the parking lights is right off of the switch or in the driver kick panel.
no idea on the trunk actuator, never worked on a 3rd gen vert.

You will need a test light to check for sure, I believe the colors are green and yellow for left and right turn. These wires will be on the steering column and in the drivers side kick panel. The Parking light wire is dark brown.
