couple of wiring questions
i have a few wiring questions
1. my rear glass defrosters stopped working and i suspect the relay in the switch.
autozone doesnt have it.
i saw hawks has the whole switch panel but without the cig lighter. is there a hole there or what?
also, how do i test to see if i really need to replace the relay or if there is another problem.
anyone have a diagram so i can do a simple resistance test across the ciricuit?
(i assume that it should not be either zero or infinity. a number would mean that the circuit is ok, no wires are fried ect.)
2. my trunk light switch connector is fried.
i can plug it in, but the wiring is melted from where the wire cracked and grounded.
the part i need is the black connector that attaches to the switch above the light itself.
looks like
|O O|
|___|
|| . ||
the "O"s at the top plug into the switch, the two "||"s are the wires coming out the bottom
3. i have a b&m megashifter and i want to test the white relay that it came with, because i suspect i am not getting lockup in my torque converter.
i was stupid and installed it without verifying that the lockup worked in the first place (after i had the tranny rebuilt) but i need to know if its the wiring or the tranny or the torque converter.
i think thats it for now
