I have a 1982 camaro Z-28, and the wipers also do not work...but i have replaced the wiper motor, and then i replaced the steering column, which in turns changes the wiper switch.. i do not have itermittant wipers..I have tried to run a hot wire to power the motor but all i can get it to do ....on one leg it clicks and on another it returns to park..i can get no other function to work....i am at a total loss, and i live in the hills of tennessee and a good mechanic is 70 miles away..so any ideas ??????thanks for the help in advance

 

Did you ever get this fixed. I am having the same problem. I changed the motor three times and it does the same thing. The post will rotate around but the post does not spin, it only make a clicking sound. in turn, my wipers only move up and down about 3 inches. My wiper switch has a low and high setting but it does not work in low and sorta works on high. Any suggestions?
