Power mirrors and door locks
Howdy ya'll. Just pulled my car out of the snow and started noting whats wrong. My power door locks work to unlock, but not to lock the door. My power mirror works on the driver's side for every direction except down, the passenger side doesn't work at all. And on the dash, my controls for the fog lights, hatch release, and rear defrost do not illuminate when my lights are on. I used my test light and found that a brown wire going to the fog light switch goes hot/cold with the headlight switch, but the button does not illuminate, do I just need all new switches for that? Thanks in advance for the help!
Re: Power mirrors and door locks
Electrical issues are always a pain to chase down. I know you said (from what it sounds like) is that all of this stuff has power to it,also make sure that no fuses are blown.
Did all of this stuff work before putting the car away for the winter,it seems like quite a bit to go wrong just from sitting through the winter months.

No all this stuff was from earlier when I first bought the car last summer. I am thinking a relay for the locks, I'm guessing the wiring between the door and body is broken and causing the mirror problems, and as for the switches on the dash... still confused as hell. All the switches function properly but just don't illuminate
