ok so before i bought my car some one had the windows tinted. then I bought the car. now I tried to figure out why my rear defroster dosent work then my friend reliezes that all and i mean all the defroster lines are cut on both sides of the window.
now my question is can this be fixed or should i just get a new rear hatch.

I would imagine it can get fixed but the tint will have to come off 1st. Then repair the defroster lines or get a new set.

Sounds like a real dodgey *** tint job.

Re: little help please

yea ide fix it if you can get the tint off without too much trouble. Course it could be worse i knew a MECHANIC that removed the tint with a scraper forgot about the defroster lines removed them completely. How you can be a certified mechanic and make a mistake like that is beond me. I dont remeber what kind of car it was but i know the hatch was too expencive to replace so they had to paint all new lines on where as you can make a solder patch over the cuts.
