Headlights need your help!
I have an 86 firebird base (originally the V6) that has had problems with the headlights coming up and down since the purchase. Before you start answering, please take these factors into account:
1. Headlight motors work, after hotwiring them, they went both up and down.
2. The driver side light goes down but not up, the passenger side one does nothing.
3. I've already replaced the main relay(I've read that there are 2 other relays that control the lights individually)
I'm fairly sure that the relays are done, but since i did the swap, most of the wiring went with the old engine. I'm fairly sure I've located one of the 2 relays, but a part number to confirm would be nice. Also, If there is anything that could also be my problem, any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

one relay is on the firewall. the two that generally fail are on the fenders about 12 inches from the radiator.
look at the attached photo. you will see the pass side by the battery. it is the little square deal with the schematic on it. draw a line across from it to the driver side. you will see it next to the windshield solvent reservoir.

dont try and run your motors without passing the current through the relays you will cook the motors quick.
yes my ride
you need to get the fisher body service manual for your diagrams. dont use any after market publications. the two book you need cost about 100 bucks for the set. they are a must if you plan to be successful at wiring these cars.

HUH?
it is TPI
and I cant get enough air!
as for hot, it is pulling cold air when moving.

Sorry I was talking about the cold air intake not the ram air... I'm about to do the same thing to my carbed z28 and I wanted to know if I should move the filter beneath the old charcoal canister or put it where you have yours.. I thought I'd get to much heat there...
