700r4 to 4l60E. not TCC lock.
i swapped in a 4l60E and havnt been able to get the TCC to lock. the ecm thinks the tcc is pressed when it isnt. i have 12V to the purple wire coming off the tranny and also to the ecm. i had it hooked to the brake switch and it was backwards(pressed when not pressed) so i wire it to 12V and it still thinks the pedal is pressed. any ideas?

It was always my understanding that the 4L60E was controlled by a much more sophisticated computer module. The only person I know of on the boards here that successfully swapped in a 4L60E had to wire in a complete aftermarket computer module to control the transmission (to the tune of about $1200 just for the computer module). The 3rd gen OBDI just doesn't have the capabilities to control all the electrical functionality of the 4L60E. Unless you've rigged in a seperate computer controller for the 4L60E I don't think the swap can be done with simple wiring. But then again, I'm certainly no expert.
