Need help locating my fuel pump wire under the dash
I don't post here often, but I have been snooping around here for several years. I have an '89 RS that was a TBI 305 A4 car that I have put an LT1 into out of a '95 Buick Roadmaster. All my wiring is done and ready...except for the fuel pump connection. The original ECM is GONE from the car. So is the harness that connected to it and came up through the pass side rocker/fenderwell. All that remains are the plugs under the dash where all that **** plugged in. I am sure the fuel pump wire is in one of those connectors and I was hoping someone on here could save me the trouble of having to tear the car half way apart to find it the hard way.
It's important to note here that the under hood wiring in this car is completely customized. All that remains of the original wiring under the hood is wiring for the lighting, windshield wiper motor and washer, the two 10ga 12V feeds for the under dash fuse block and the 10ga (purple) ignition wire for the starter. I used the original 12v feed for the ignition coil to tickle some relays that turn on my LT1 stuff. All the other wiring is gone.

Nevermind, I found it.
Now, if anyone else needs to know where this wire is, just send me a message and I'll get back to you with the answer in about a week or so. Maybe longer. Just depends on what kinda mood I'm in.
(I expected a much swifter response to this question than I got on here....)

Re: Need help locating my fuel pump wire under the dash
Glad you found it.
On an '89 RS, it would be the tan/white wire running from the dash on the driver side, down behind the kick panel, under the carpet alongside the door and out the back wall behind the back seats, right in the center, in case anybody's interested in the answer.
Btw, I can understand your impatience but you might try to understand that others also have a life outside of the 'net.
Good luck with your LS1 swap. What am I saying? You don't need luck, you got all the wires already figured out. Awesome. I've done it once. It was a learning experience. And then I said "never again".
So finish her up, sit back and enjoy!
