According to the security light on the dash the reason my 91 camaro rs won't start is not VATS related (it comes on for a few seconds after i turn the key on then goes off). but could the actual VATS module itself be bad and the security light still show no indication??? i've checked everything i can imagine as to why it won't run.

if i go and start it up in the morning, it'll start and maybe idle for like 5-8 seconds, then die quickly, and sometimes it will just turn over and not even try to start... it still seems like VATS....

cause after i bypassed the resistance reader in the ignition switch by putting in a resistor pack and it ran awesome for about 60 miles or so. the next morning i started it up, drove a half a mile and it died like it was VATS and hasn't ran right since.... HELP ME PLEASE
