Sensor help needed/Wire help

Ok my engine has been out of my car for 4 1/2 yrs.
since then we lost most of the sensors, & the tape we had around the wires has faded that way we can read it lol.

So I need to see pics & placement of org sensors for an 87 L98 engine. plus what connections go where would help too. lol

Now, just to let you guys know, we took the AC unit out, so we dont need those, plus we also are taking the smog out.

The engine is currently the stock motor bored over to a 355, with the holley stealth ram on top. (those wires we know where they go to)

Re: Sensor help needed/Wire help

I'll try to get a couple pics out of my service manual in the morning. That tells where EVERYTHING goes. The best thing to do is to lay out the harness with the big C100 (by the brake booster) on the right, and the body pass through (behind the pass' fender) on the left. Everything branches out from there. Some things will be obvious right off the bat if you do that, namely the starter terminals, the oil pressure, the A/C stuff (if you have/had any), and the TB connections. There is a thin loom of wire that starts pretty much right at the C100 that is long and probably half not loomed. That runs straight to the front of the car for the power steering switch.

Re: Sensor help needed/Wire help

some of Connector C100 is for the gauges right? Does that mean that if I run a wire from this harness on pin "blah"..."I don't know the location right now". To my oil pressure sending unit and a wire from pin "blah". To my water temp sensor it will work?

I bought a 88 GTA someone did a carb swap on and the wire harness is all hacked up.
