HI I just bought an 89 rs for my brother and am having some electrical issues. I was driving it around after doing a tune up and all of a sudden the head lights go out as well as the dome and dash lights. I first thought it was the fuses but checked them all and and all checked out fine. Not really sure whats going on or where to go from here. the turnsigs work and the hazards aswell as the brake lights . any help would be much appreciated

 

bro, i have the same problem, cept its just my head lights.everything else stays on. one person told me to check the voltage before and while the headlights on and car running to see if it fluctuates.i still haven't fixed it though

 

You have a loose connection somewhere, go through from the lights back and check your connections.

 

Welcome to the site.Start with the simple things first,check for a loose fuse,bad or loose ground,possibly a frayed wire somewhere.
