87 v6 to 92 5.7 tpi wiring
not sure if this should be in the electronics or the engine swap section.
so feel free to move me. anyways, I have a 87 camaro lt that had a 2.8 in it. I have purchased many components for this car: cam, internals, ect... but the question i have is about the wiring. i have a 92 tpi intake w/ecm out of a 92 gta with a 5.7. i had received the wiring harness as well but there were a couple of cut wires. so, i got a 91 harness from a camaro off ebay that is in great shape. i am pretty sure 91 and 92 harnesses are the same.i have read in another article about converting a tbi harness to tpi but i have a tpi harness if someone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. . i really don't want to tear apart my dash. the diagrams on austinthirdgen for repining the 87 connector to a 92 is very vague. i was also reading something about vats. i have searched a lot and probably looked right over a thread that would have helped. this is my first project but it has drug on for over a year now. thanks
