How do I remove a pin from the c100 bulkhead connector

I googled and searched here, and I find threads that it can be done, but nothing tells me exactly how. I have tried using a small screwdriver to push in the tang - can't really see it because of the black goo. The pin feels loose now but it will not come out.

How about a pic?

Not everybody has the service manual in their back pocket to look up the C100 junction.

It's the bulkhead connector on the firewall. I need to remove a male pin from the harness
