oil gauge

Car: 87 IROC
Engine: GM 350 soon to be supercharged
Transmission: tko 600
Axle/Gears: 3:73
oil gauge
so the gauge works but stays pinned ...........it will go to 0 when i ground the wire running off the oil sensor its a 3 terminal oil plug with a 3rd wire going to the oil gauge .........the temp gauge when i turn the key shoots all the way up and then comes down when it runs but doesnt work any suggestions?
