Replacing factory gauges

I'm replacing all the in-dash gauges in my 91 Z-28. There is now a mess of wires that need to be hooked up. I'm gonna need many grounds and 12v source. I was thinking of using some type of junction blocks to run all grounds from the lights and gauges to a common ground in the original harness. Same with the 12v source. Any suggestions?

Re: Replacing factory gauges

I hope you took into consideration when you bought your gauges that your 91 uses an electronic speedometer and not a mechanical one.

Re: Replacing factory gauges

I went to Radio Shack and picked up three 8-positon barrier strips and three 8-position jumpers. I used one for the accesory power, one for the light power, and one for the gauge and light grounds. Made wiring the gauges so easy and organized the wires nicely.
