Remote start/locks?

Just curious if these cars ever came with remote start, and remote locks. Would be pretty sick if i could add that to my camaro. Anyone ever add em maybe? And can it be done without those big, ugly modules hanging from under the dash i've seen some cars have?

For the remote locks ▬ they sell them all over the place, usually included with alarms.

If you get a basic unit it won't be too large therefore will fit under the knee bolster.

Remote starters are sold in kits also.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look doofy. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!

Re: No Touch Secure Cure

My 1992 RS has remote locks and trunk release - but its an aftermarket add on. You have to have electric locks and trunk release to begin with of course.

Alarms I despise! They go off so often that no one ever pays attention anyway. And everyone's horn scaring the geebees out of me everytime they get out of their car and click their lock button - ARRGGGHHHHHHH! My 1997 Z28 has an alarm, but when the battery goes dead in the remote, and I unlock the door with the key, the alarm goes off until I insert the key and start it, and it just pisses me off - If I could find the time to remove it I would. But that's just me, I'm done venting. Thanks

Many false alarms are caused by wet pin switches.

I use a relay interfaces to prevent those false alarms.
