V.A.T.S module box

i just received a used V.A.T.S system from 3rdgenranch and now i need to find the module box in my car.
so where exactly is the box located at? i know is some where under the dash but i was not able to see it.

Under the driver side panel, behind the brake pedal, up to the left mounted on the firewall.

That's not where it's at. I see you have an '89 and a '91 so I don't what what year you're putting it in so I'll tell you where both are at.

On an '89 the module will be mounted on the back side of the dash just to the upper left side of the console. It's actually mounted to the front of the heater ducting so you have to take apart the dash to get to it. (It's a terrible place.)

On '90-'92 cars it is mounted to the back side of the dash on the passenger side. Once you pull off the dashpad you should be able to see it through the windshield. You need to unbolt the dash from the car and you can easily get to it.
