i have a 91 firebird formula and the owner lost the key so the vats system shut it down so we put a 87 camaro computer in it and a camaro steering colloum would that mess up shifting or gauges or motor performance???
i mean it runs damn good now but not perfect.

 

87-91 ECMs will not swap at all

Refer to a locksmith who understand the VATS system for your problem

DIY by purchasing all 15 resistors and trying each until one allows your car to start. Be aware that a wrong resistance value will disable the car for 15-20 minutes, so be sure you've got free time
