so ive searched up a few threads but didnt get a real answer for these so here i go.
i picked up a gauge pod and it came with autometer Air:ratio gauge and a tranny temp for 60 bucks, seeling the trans temp tho.
now it seems like people really suggest using a wideband o2 sensor
1) would this affect the other systems of the car?
2) do you have to get a kit to use one?
ive found this kit on ebay with a glowshift wideband gauge and comes with some stuff, would this be all i need? http://cgi.ebay.ca/TINTED-FACE-DIGIT...item563700f6e2
id prefer to stick with the autometer one but if this is everything ill probably just get it.

Well if you need a wide band A/F gauge then what you have to do is install another wide band O2 sensor (cant just put it in place of your old O2 sensor to feed the ECM and the gauge as the outputs are different). Next you dont need to buy a kit persay but you need a wide band gauge with a wide band sensor or a standard af gauge with a standard sensor.
