Mutliple questions
Can someone please answer these few questions I have? Thanks
I read somewhere today that if I have my 350 tpi running and block the iac passage at the throttle body, if it dies that means it doesn't have a vacuum leak. Was this just BS?
Also, I was datalogging and noticed that at about 2600rpm's my TPS voltage was only .90V and TPS % was only around 12%. I know it supposed to go up to around 4.0+ at WOT. is this normal?
I also just noticed that my oil temp seems to never heat up in any of my datalogs. I've ran 20 or so runs and the oil temp is the same on all of the runs. I see oil pressure on my gauge but my computer only sees 41.25 degrees oil temp all the time.

Re: Mutliple questions
Can't block the IAC passage since it's cast internally. But if you could, you could not conclude that you have no vacuum leaks if it dies. A small leak could still be there, but it might not be enough to keep the engine idling.
No direct correlation between RPM and TPS voltage. TPS voltage should be .54v at idle and should increase gradually to over 4v at WOT.
These engines do not have means to monitor oil temp.
