Re: fog lights
The wire connector should be in the dash panel behid where the fog light switch goes. BUT - where this connector actually goes is somewhat of a mystery, since it never reappears under the hood (except on the cars that have fog lights factory). Here's what I did:
1) Got a factory foglight switch from ebay, plugged it up to stock wire in dash.
2) The factory switch gets power from the fuse box - the switch lights up a small green LED when in the ON position, so using the factory wire makes it look like a stock install.
3) Tapped into the power out wire from this, and ran a wire under the hood to control a relay so that when the switch is ON, power runs to the relay switching the relay on, when the relay is on then it switches power directly from the battery to the fog lights.
4) Got the battery power for the relay from the power distribution center located beside the battery.
Switch--->Dash plug--->Tapped Wire--->Relay (this is low amp 12v+ from fuse panel)
Power Dist Center---->Relay---->Foglight (this is high amp 12v+ from battery)
I just used a $5 4-prong relay from any auto parts store.
Prong 1 = ground
Prong 2 = low amp 12v+ from switch
Prong 3 = high amp 12v+ from battery
Prong 4 = high amp 12v+ to foglight
You'll have to look at the wiring instruction for which prong is which on your particular relay.
Make sense?

Re: fog lights
My understanding is that it disappears because it goes into the C100, or w/e big plug is right below the brake booster in the engine compartment. It's not a seperate harness like the 89 and older firebirds and camaros. Only cars that had the fog light option from 90-92 have a wire coming from there to where the lights go. I'm doing the same thing, using the factory relay and plug inside the car to have everything in a factory location, and then finding a wire to re-pin into the big plug underneath the booster to have a completely factory appearance. I'm a stickler about details so thats why i'm going the extra mile, or two from the sounds of it, to get a completely factory appearance.

Re: fog lights
yeah it makes sense im just not good with wiring lol i have a foglight switch with pigtail so i guess thats out of the way. but i think im going to have to find someone to do this for me.. im new to relays and grounding i'll end up catching my car on fire knowing me. but this helps i can show some1 with more knowledge than me and it might help them figure it out. but does 1991 rs have the fuse and relay already there?

Re: fog lights
It won't have the fuse or relay. My understanding is that there is a plug for the relay already underneath the dash somewhere. Not positive where i read this either so i could be incorrect on the factory side of things. The fuse panel will have the space for a fuse, but no fuse. The way he described it, you can slap a fuse in there, it should give power to the plug for the stock switch, wire up a relay, and install some lights and there you go.

Re: fog lights
Not a problem. I know to some people, looking at a schamatic is like trying to understand spanish, but if you are interested, i believe there is a schematic for the 90-92 camaro fog light setup in the tech articles on the www.austinthirdgen.org website. That may be of some help to you. Should be under the exterior lighting on the headlight side of the schematic.
