Headlights raise when on break HELP
Headlights raise when on break HELP
Whenever I step on the breake pedal my headlights will pop up with no lights, and go back down when my foot is off the pedal. How do I solve this problem?

That's a funny problem. Does it do it when the car is stopped in Park? There isn't any wiring shared between the headlights and the brake lights. Better yet, the system that operates the headlight doors is almost independent of the headlights. Are you sure the headlights don't light up for even a second? Technically the lights come on before the headlight rotates up. It matters, because if the headlight comes on for even a split second that'll signal the headlight door module to send the lights up.

not break, brake.
Re: Headlights raise when on break HELP
well sounds to me like the wires of both are touching....the brake lights and headlight wires are closely related..which means the brake lights and headlight motor wires are also close check that.

Car alarm installed? Some how, the wiring has been tampered with. The brakes & headlight motors are totally separate circuits.
