My 86 t/a i have a question , when i put my foot on the brakes, the dash lights and gear selector lights come on, is this normal? all lights are working correctly!
also having problem with high idle and it surges when i let off the gas when coasting only. not under throttle.

My 89 camry does the same thing, the previous owner said he accidentally hooked the connector for the third brake light in upside down. I'm not sure if you can do that with the f-body connector but i don't mind it in my camry so i'm just gonna leave it.
