bought a b4c with light problems

hello all it has been a long time since I have posted (4 years since i've logged in) but I just bought myself a 91 B4C today for $1300. body is great, there's a minor stumble at part throttle, but my biggest concern is the electrical. Brights don't work even though they are brand new (not even pitted lenses at all yet) and when i try to pull the lever to turn them on there is no click or anything. NOW THE SCARY PART: My headlights (and apparently taillights) just start flickering and cut out randomly while driving. Didn't have any trouble when i was test driving the car but shortly after they went apepoop. if I push the light **** all the way in and yank it back out it seems to work for a while but it just switches back to insanity later.(not worried about breaking **** off as i found it in the back passenger seat) I do have a 91 RS 305 that i totaled back in high school I plan on scavenging parts off of. Am i correct in assuming that it is the headlight switch and does anyone know what would need to be done to replace it? Also can I steal the alternator from the RS as mine seems to run at about 11V according to the gauge when i turn the fans on (yes it already has a manual fan switch) whew... long post sorry
