i found a kit on summit racing to put a key less entry in a car. it says it eleminates manual locks. the kit is called Electric-Life Combo Power Door Lock Keyless Entry Systems.

I was wondering if anyone has ever put this kit in thier car and if so how did it work?

My car has power locks already so will this kit still work with my car?

 

if it's just to unlock the doors then that ok but remember these cars had that chip in the key so if you go for a remote start then do it right have a shop put it in.

 

There's alot of keyless entry systems out there that will work without having to pay for the electric lock assemblies - ebay has a ton of them available cheap.

 

I just wanted the keyless entry not the car starter. yeah i know about the key chip haha... I just replaced that key cylinder about 2 weeks ago becaust that little wire that reads the chip broke in the stearing colum.

Ill take alok on ebay sometime whan i get a chance and see what i can find their.
