Looking at new toys...
I am looking to get another 3rd Gen. I found one online that I like, but it has the digital dash. Is there any known issues with the digital dash, or did GM get this one right?
My other cars have analog guages, so I am a little concerned. The car I am looking at is a 1987 Trans Am GTA L98 car...sounds fully loaded. Just wondering if this is something I can continue to look into, or if I should pass on the iffy dash...
Thanks.

Re: Looking at new toys...
Although i havnt owned A GTA with a digital dash i have owned a camaro with a digital dash. Although a digital dash GTA with the l98 and stuff is a pretty valuable as far as third gens go in terms of practicality there not common therefore parts are hard to come by and can be pricey. I dont know of any reliability issues under normal circumstances but like for example i killed the dash in my camaro as result of a T-Top leak and the GM dealership wanted $400 to fix it and $200 from the junkyard.
