a bad wiring question about two wires

Car: 1987 camaro rs limited
Engine: 2.8 ltr multiport fuel injected
Transmission: th700r
Axle/Gears: 3.43
a bad wiring question about two wires

Ok there are two wires connected on a single plug ones yellow and ones orange and if you but them together the turn the starter motor i want to no where they go so i can eather plug them in or tape them up so they dont short out and start the car. i hate when people mess with wiring its there and pluged in for a reason just leave it alone
