Engine: 350 bored .40 reman vortec heads
Transmission: 700r4
swap almost done ign wire question
ok my swap is just about come to the end here is what i would like to know. Can I wire my one fan and the intank fuel pump to the ign wire that runs to the dist. or should i find a diff. way of doing this. 88 iroc went from 305 tpi to carbed 350 bored .40 over, vortec heads that will handle upto a .600 lift cam. i only have a .510 lift. 650 double pump holley

I wouldn't run any additional loads off my distributor's ignition wire. You can run the fan off the white wire that feeds the old fan relay, but the fan will run as soon as you turn the ignition on. You should be able to still use your original fan relay if you just feed the green/white wire directly to the thermal switch in your head rather than through the ECM.
Sorry but don't know enough about the fuel pump issue. Mine has a mechanical fuel pump.

It sounds like you no longer have the ECM.
