HELP FINDING WIRES PLEASE???
Hey guys im trying to connect a remote starter in my 86 trans am
i attached a picture of the kickpanel area behind the fuse box.
i already tried lowering the steering columb but still dont have enough slack to splice into the correct wires.
a guy at a shop suggested to try to follow the wires down the side.
i took a photo of what i saw.
can someone help me find the starter,12v, ignition and accessory.
for accessory can i just tap off any of the orange wires off the power distribution block?
the pink wire can't be ignition but i dont see any other pink wires in that area besides the ones coming from the power distribution block.
is the red wire 12v from the battery?
and if none of the wires i found are the correct ones where can i trace the right wires from the columb?
i can get the 12volts no problem but... i still need starter ignition and accessory
i wouldnt need this help if i could just get enough room at the steering columb so just work with me here guys.
thanks.

Re: HELP FINDING WIRES PLEASE???
heres the adobe pdf file of the manual.
page 6 and 7 show/explain what to do with the wires meant for remote starting the engine.
I need to find the starter wire. ignition wire and accessory.
according to a wiring schematic for our thirdgens i couldnt find 86. but i found 87-92 from bulldogsecurity.com and it says starter wire at the ignition harness is YELLOW. ACC is ORANGE and IGNITION is PINK.
http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagr...5&link=Bulldog
I do see these wires at the ignition harness on the steering columb bit dont have enough room or slack to splice into those wires.
so i need an alternative on where else i can access these wires. a shop i called suggested to follow down the side behind the fuse box.
any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
