changed the remote switch module (resistor), and no instrument panel lights !!!!!

ok guys here i come again with this problem, i had changed the remote dimmer switch and poped a fuse in there, 5 amps, my instrument panel lighted up for like 2 minutes than blew the fuse, now i poped a 10 amp fuse in there (cause i ran out of 5 amps ) and the fuse didnt blow but No lights on the dash!!!!, i thought i blew the resistor again so i went today and got another one and installed it,( another 60 bucks) and still nothing and the new 5 amp fuse dosent even blow, but i still get no lights, can someone please help me solve this problem, im getting very frustrated, thanks..... its a 91 firebird.

Let’s Get Some Light On The Subject

It sounds like with the introduction of the 10 amp fuse you blew a circuit down the line.

Use a test light
(for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester).

Open the line at the output of the dimmer module and place the test light there.

Does the module operate the light?
