HELP Can't Get Fuel Pump 2 Run Without running a hot wire to Relay!!!

Car: 87 T/A,92 T/A,
Engine: 406TPI,355TPI,
Transmission: 700R4 for all
Axle/Gears: 4.11,3.23,
HELP Can't Get Fuel Pump 2 Run Without running a hot wire to Relay!!!
I don't know what happened, but my fuel pump is good, there is power to 1 wire on relay, but no fuel pump!!! replaced fuel pump, replaced relay still no power, u can run a hot to the middle wire on the relay AND BINGO THE CAR WILL START what could cause this? the car is an 87 trans am had this problem when i parked it in 2006 since then I put a 434 in it and I am still running a TPI (all aftermarket) could it be the ignition switch on the columm? replaced coluum and it still does it. car does not have VATS or alarm or remote start. Car is a limited # run for 87 and wanna keep it kinda stock would hate to carb it can anyone HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you retained the ECM, the problem is: the pump relay is not receiving the priming signal.
To test it, connect a test light (for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to terminal A1 of the EMC and ground.
Turn the key to the RUN position.
Does the test light go on for ~2 seconds?

if not, check your C207 connector on the passenger side; there's a few of the fuel pump relay wires going through it. you may have a bad connection
