Re-wiring question

Okay, here is what happened today;
I have an '87 IROC 305 TPI.
I deceided to relocate the passenger side wiring harness that is under the hood. I took one wire at a time, cut it, lengthened it with proper gauge wire, reconnected it and then soldered each joint. I did all 21 wires this way.
I started the car and found it wasn't running quite right and it threw two codes - #15 (coolant temperature sensor or circuit fault - signal voltage high) and #23 (Manifold Absolute Temperature sensor voltage high (fuel injected vehicles) or Throttle Position Sensor fault).
I rechecked everything and couldn't find anything out of sorts. The only thing that I can figure is when I found two 18 gauge black wires that were factory joined, in parallel, together in the loom. I cut out the factory joint and ran them each seperate from each other. Could that have caused my codes?
Any help will be appreciated.

Never mind. I solved the problem by re-attatching the two black wires.
