headlight motor/gearbox Q?
Pulled apart my headlight gearbox because the one side wasnt going up. I found the normal pile of dust that used to be bushings, but while taking it apart I took the motor off and now can't figure out how to get it back in without the brushes falling out. Any tips would be helpfull.
Had to add a pic because you don't see the insides to often, can see the dust behind the casing. Thanks!

Re: headlight motor/gearbox Q?
So the kit you bought didn't include a tip in the instructions on how to hold the brushes in the retracted position while you re-install the motor shaft? Here's a link to the instructions in the kit I manufacture and sell. I call it the "paperclip trick". You can download the instructions to many of the products I sell from the lower left side of my web site under "documentation".
